A typical scattering
ashes at sea service will begin with us meeting you and your
funeral party in Marina Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal. From
there we will board our boat (or boats should numbers
dictate) and sail out to sea to perform your chosen
scattering ashes at sea service.
Upon reaching the point of dispersal, the boat will stop and
weigh anchor. The cremation memorial service will then be
discharged in your own time and the ashes scattered into the
sea. Once you are ready to proceed, the boat will return to
the Marina where we will all disembark. Any members of the
funeral party who did not travel with the boat can then
rejoin the main group. The Marina Vilamoura itself is a
perfect location for everyone then to take some time out
after the service before departing.
The process of scattering ashes at sea may not be as
familiar to you as other types of funeral or memorial
service. Now that you have found our website, please take
the time to contact us (by clicking on the button below the
video on this page) with any questions you may have about
scattering ashes at sea. We are more than happy to provide
you with procedural information as well as answering any
